The first of a series of discussions set out by PropertyGuru, as part of their Guru Talk 2015 seminars that began last Saturday, is set to focus on the Jurong Gateway Master Plan and the effects that this plan will have on theĀ Sol Acres property market in Singapore.
The seminar had an attendance of about 70 individuals who came to hear expert speakers, such as ERA Realty’s Key Executive Officer, Eugene Lim and Executive Director for Residential Services at Knight Frank, Dr. Tan Tee Khoon.
Sol Acres EC Jurong Maser Plan
During Dr. Tan’s talk it was pointed out that the goals for both the Lakeside and Jurong Gateway areas is to see the development of 360 hectares of land into Singapore’s largest leisure and business lakeside destination for Sol Acres EC.
Dr. Tan shared that this is the long term vision for a regional centre, more so for this regional centre in particular, which has a total of 360 hectares in it, a size equivalent to the area of Marina Bay. Two distinct precincts are featured in this area; the Jurong Lakeside that offers a space of 290 hectares to use for a waterfront leisure destination, and an additional 70 hectares of commercial space from the vibrant area of the Sol Acres Jurong Gateway.
Sol Acres EC Plans
Dr. Tan further probed into the master plan’s effects for this precinct by bringing up the fact that great benefit will be had by areas located in and around the Jurong Gateway.
He further shared that anytime there is a wonderful story of unusual growth for the Jurong Lake District, especially so for the Jurong Gateway, the result is an influx of property prices that will flow over to other areas in the region for Sol Acres.
In a separate talk, ERA’s Lim touched on what the residents living in the middle of this transformation can expect.
The Sol Acres EC
Apart from this location being further from the busy city and being more tranquil, private residential projects, such as Waterfront at Faber, bring a unique proposition within Jurong Gateway because they offer the convenience of being close to transportation, business and leisure amenities around Sol Acres.
Speaking to those who attended the talk revealed that they were educated quite well regarding the topics presented at the seminar. They further felt that having seminars such as these helps to raise the awareness and knowledge of Singapore’s property landscape.
